FXStreet — US stock markets opened on the weaker Wednesday, and all three major indices fall during the opening hour.
The DJIA has lost around -70 points of 21,000, while the S&P 500 by 8 points on the 2405 comes in. The Nasdaq is more than 30 points, so that it is now trading below 6200.
A strong decline in crude oil prices impacted energy stocks and the risk appetite of the investors, in the stock markets is noticeable. In addition, the investors do not want to take ahead of the US NFP on Friday, no new Long positions.
The US Chicago PMI fell to the lowest level since January, as the result of 58.3 in April, only 55.2. Add to that the pending real estate sales for April, which fell to is -1.30%.
